Important Information for Parents/Guardians

Parents/Guardian of PHS Students:

Next week is a very important week and I want to highlight the critically important tasks that students and families need to take care of in preparation for the first day of virtual classes on Monday August 31.

Computer Pick Up

Computer roll out will take place at PHS during the week of Aug. 24.

Aug. 24 through 27 are Express Pickup days for parents and students who have prepaid the insurance cost online ONLY. This will ensure quick and easy laptop distribution. Payment can be made online with credit or debit cards. If you are unable to prepay for enrollment using either a credit or debit card, please contact Jon Fitzgerald at (314) 213-8051 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to   arrange alternative payment options. All device enrollments MUST be prepaid for pickup and deployment; payment on-site will not be available this year.

To prepay for insurance, visit https://www.one2onerisk.com/ and select the option “Enroll My Device.” Follow the procedures listed to enroll your device. After enrollment, reserve your time for pickup at  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050a45a9a723a4f49-pattonville and use the access code PiratePete. Device rollout will take place in the large gym of PHS with social distancing measures in place. Parents and students will enter through the pool entrance at PHS and follow signage to the large gym. All staff, students and parents must wear a mask during laptop distribution. Health Screening checkpoints will be set up in the PHS Commons with a temperature check and symptoms check station, before moving students on to the large gym for computer distribution.  Masks must be worn in the building.

Students may come on their own or be accompanied by one family member or guest.

Textbook and Supply distribution

While instruction is taking place virtually, there are some materials that students will need to support their learning such as textbooks, lab supplies etc. nFamilies will be able to pick up materials at PHS on the dates and times listed below.

Textbook/supply pick-up has been scheduled separately from computer pick-up as student schedules are still being finalized.  Once schedules are finalized, teachers will communicate to their students which items should be picked-up.

In order to ensure that students have the correct textbooks and supplies for their courses, we will be distributing textbooks and necessary supplies to students beginning September 2.

Rest assured that you child will not miss out on anything instructionally during week 1 of school.  The vast majority of the time spent during the first week will be getting students familiar with the technology platforms that teachers and students will be using throughout virtual learning.

Textbook/supply distribution Schedule (Multi-Purpose Room of PHS)

  • Wednesday, September 2nd- (3pm to 7pm)
  • Thursday, September 3rd - (3pm to 7pm)

No sign up needed for textbook/supply distribution.

Students will enter the Multi Purpose Room and visit each subject area to pick-up the books/supplies noted by each teacher, then checkout at the designated station. Please have your student bring a book bag and a copy of their schedule.

In the event your family is unable to come on the above dates, please contact Assistant Principal  Dr. Manahan at (314) 213-8051 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
