Rose Acres staff celebrates being named a National Blue Ribbon School

Rose Acres was one of seven schools in Missouri recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2020 National Blue Ribbon School. The Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and non-public schools where students achieve very high learning standards.

Today, staff members enjoyed a celebratory luncheon with presentations by principal Mr. Steve Vargo, superintendent Dr. Tim Pecoraro and school board president Ms. Andrea Glenn. Decorations included hand-drawn placemats completed during art class by all in-person learning students.
Rose Acres is the first Pattonville elementary school to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon School and the first school in the district to receive the recognition since 1993 (Pattonville Heights Middle School 1984, Holman Middle School 1985, and Pattonville High School 1993).

Students, staff and families are invited to take photos this week with the Card My Yard display in the circle drive at the school.
