High school students can attend college fairs through a virtual experience

Students, families, and counselors are invited to virtually connect with over 120 post-secondary options from around the world for free during Missouri’s Show-Me Virtual College Fair on March 10.

The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) offers opportunities for high school students and potential transfer students and their families to learn more about their post-secondary options through Show-Me Virtual College Fairs.

Show-Me Virtual College Fairs is a new endeavor that extends programming began in fall 2020 and will provide students across the state of Missouri the opportunity to meet six colleges in 45-minute college fair sessions. College representatives will be available to answer questions throughout the presentations.

MOACAC is also offering a free college and career planning session on March 9 before the Virtual College Fair. Participants can choose from sessions on college planning, financial aid and scholarships, highly selective admissions and career awareness.

Incoming first-year student college fairs are March 9-10 and April 6-8. The transfer student college fair is on April 22.

This new virtual format gives greater access to students and school counselors in Missouri to colleges from across the globe. Registration is now open to students, parents and counselors in Missouri. A complete list of the sessions and registration information can be found at https://www.strivescan.com/Missouri/.

The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) is a non-profit state affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) that represents more than 700 members across the state.
