Beginning with the Nov. 11 board of education meeting, the Pattonville School District will launch a new board management platform, Simbli. The district’s current platform, BoardDocs, is being phased out by its parent company, Diligent.

Pattonville pirates of all ages came out on Oct. 10 and 11 to celebrate homecoming. On Friday, the Pirates played a blowout game against the Hazelwood Central Hawks and the homecoming king and queen were named. On Saturday, students participated in a fun run and the community enjoyed the annual homecoming parade.

Pattonville will host a Pre-Candidate Forum for those interested in running for a seat on the district’s board of education. The forum is set for 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6. Those interested in attending should RSVP by emailing collinsa10@psdr3.org or calling 314-213-8001 by 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3.

The Pattonville Board of Education on Sept. 30 voted to approve the district tax rate for the 2025-2026 school year. School boards in St. Louis County set tax rates each year for four classes of property within school district boundaries. The rates for all four property classes, as approved by the board, are: residential: $3.5579; agricultural: $4.9339; commercial: $4.6207; and personal property: $5.3896.

Out of about 467 public school districts in Missouri, Pattonville is ranked No. 28 among the top districts on Niche.com’s 2026 Best School Districts in America list.

The Pattonville community is invited to join as Pattonville celebrates homecoming on Oct. 10 and 11. Homecoming festivities include a variety of activities open to the Pattonville community. This year’s homecoming theme is Dancing Through the Decades.
